According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Self-Reliance" was not a term used to describe anti –social behavior, but to promote individualism as a starting point, and not the result. As such we understand that there are some among us that, from the onset, are not capable of fending for self or need assistance at different stages in life. It is to this charity was born. Corporations and businesses alike are considered people. What else could they be, people make products people sell the products people collect the money given in trade for the product, and people perpetuate the growth of the company with innovation and creativity.
